Hurry Hurry, summer is almost over!!! Part 5 : Bar Paniek
Everybody in Antwerp can feel it, the summer is coming to an end! Which is a very unfortunate thing and it makes me quite sad seeing that I haven't visited enough summer bars yet! Like all beautiful stories, a happy ending is nearby and I'm rushing like a maniac to tell you guys where to go before it's too late!
The summer bar I will talk to you about, is actually closing on Sunday! So hurry up because this one is sooo unique, so enchanting and so mesmerizing that you have to go and check it out!!! It's called Bar Paniek, which can be translated into Bar Panic. Which is actually the least likely emotion you would feel if you would jump aboard. Because this summer bar is completely build up from scratch around a crane. It's made from bits and pieces by the art group 'Time Circus'.
You walk onto a platform and it's like you enter another world. So much green, such a good vibe and such nice bartenders! The roadsigns on the platform might confuse you a bit, but just go with the flow.
I walked straight into the temple, which is a shrine for the holy inspiration. I know it sounds very abstract but I can't really explain it, it's kind of magical really. If you continue your way through the temple, you end up in the souvenir shop where you can buy all sorts of empty bell jars. These bell jars are meant to put your creative ideas underneath so those won't go floating away. And so we continue or pilgrimage through the forest and we end up at the actual bar.
The view is amazing and so is the cava! It's now opened 24/7 until they close so you have no excuses but to go there! Please do because if I had to give an award for the most creative summer bar, Bar Paniek would indecisively win!!
