Friday co-work: a new co-working hotspot
Since 2017 the concept of co-working has become more and more popular. Which isn’t a surprise considering the different needs we workers have. Whether you are a freelancer or a part-timer and need a place to go about your business; co-working works miracles when you find the perfect fit. You can work, get inspired by your coworkers and surroundings and well who knows maybe even land a cool new project…
Andrea Paolini, the proud owner of Friday co-work, remembers how a year ago he himself had taken the hard step of becoming a fulltime freelancer. Whilst working out of his own living room decided it just wasn’t enough. Therefor together with an investor he fell upon this property, a former diamond grinding place last used back in the 70thies. This hidden property, which could be transformed into two floors, was perfect for his side project: a cozy co-work space. His plan was simple …
“From the beginning I have wanted a co-working space that focused on the community and where people could learn, grow and inspire one and other," Andrea says.
Working in his own living room was so productive, but not inspiring enough and so he searched for a co-working spot to fit his needs. He didn’t find what he was looking for. This is right about when Friday co-work came to life, here it’s all about that chill vibe you have on a Friday knowing the weekend is nearly here…
What is so special about Friday co-work?
You enter the property through a door that leads to an inside courtyard where you have this huge tree and red design stairs. On the first floor you can find 2 spaces. One has a bunch of plants and white fluffy rugs, some tables. This is a true living room. The other space is the resident’s area, here you can have your own desk and although it is an office, the plants and grungy look of the space give you a direct pep and creativity boost.
Lastly the second floor offers a huge room with a bunch of tables, a bathroom and kitchen space. Here the atmosphere is very light and homey. The huge sliding doors can transform this space into 3 meeting rooms without a hassle. In the summer there is a possibility for picnic tables in the inside courtyard, isn’t that just perfect! One of the team members is always here working on their own stuff, but if you have any questions feel free to ask them.
Andrea himself took care of the interior, the branding and the website with help from plantcorner for his lovely plants.
Here at Friday cowork the residents are offered 24/7 access to their desk, so whether you are a day bird or a night owl your needs will be met. There is coffee, tea, fruit, fire (for your own quick meals) and up to 100 copies inclusive in the monthly price. For more info about the formulas or how to become a resident visit their website.
And don’t be shy to reach out to Andrea himself, he is a real host. He is open to everything and really wants to grow together with this community and make this co-work space as cool and efficient as possible. Because here you can be who you are, whether that is in a suit or some sweatpants… It is after all your work living room.
