Bar Nadar is a small bar right on the quays of the Scheldt. It's a really nice place to have a drink at night after work or before you go out for example. The location is great! Right by the water in the historical center, a terrace with sun chairs (when the weather allows it) and also close to 't Zuid. Although the bar is pretty small it's divided into 2 area's, one side has tables and the other is often used as mingling/party/expo space.
The bar opened in 2010 with the intention to also showcase work by young artists but has since then changed owners and is now more of a bar/ party / live music spot than a bar/gallery. But once in a while they still have exhibitions or special events; in May, Harmonie held a launch party for the new issue of their magazine with work by Leon Vrancken. This is also one of those places where musicians are welcomed with open arms. Every so often they open up the floor and everybody is welcome to come and play.
