Antwerp Discovers Antwerp showed that Antwerp will always have something exciting and new in store for you. The event celebrated fresh local talents and brands at St. Vincents, the city's newest concept store.

The initiative for Antwerp Discovers Antwerp (#ada16) came from Yelp Antwerp's Vincent Van Reusel. As the new community manager he wanted Antwerp locals to experience Yelp offline, and promote great local businesses.

#ada16 felt like a condensed version of Antwerp.

The brand new HAVN gin, the bakery Brood & Spelen and St. Vincents surprised everyone with tastings, while Chocolatier Goossens held a contest at which you could win Antwerp inspired chocolates.

Interior decorating workshops were provided on the first floor at the Roomin pop-up apartment with Sternum, JeMaMuse and Bloomon. The Antwerp based florist De Groene Oase brought in the green at the HAVN pop-up bar.Beats and tunes were taken care of the böky bros, two Antwerpian brothers who also played an amazing set at the fifth anniversary of the MAS Museum, later that day.

Antwerp's City Poet Maarten Inghels hopped by to read some of his poems about our city. Philippe Corthout, aka Shortwood, opened his photo exhibition and Jonathan Zegbe, aka Jon The Gold, showed off his styling skills with the clothes from St. Vincents. Jon also got invited by Yelp to take over the new @yelpantwerpen Snapchat account.
